My Sunday Photo

#MySundayPhoto this week is from Taylor’s first birthday, which we celebrated just before Christmas.

Since the day I found out that Taylor would be a December baby, I’ve felt like she would resent having her birthday so close to Christmas (once she’s old enough to understand.) However, after deciding to throw her a party five days before Christmas I’ve changed my mind on the matter; It was a great way to kick-start the festivities and get all of our friends and family together for one last time before we all went our separate ways for the holiday season.

Taylor had a blast and was spoiled rotten. She loves being the centre of attention, so a party all about her is what her dreams are made of! She refused to nap throughout the whole day and didn’t stop for a second. I think this photo of her helping herself to the cake sums her up at age one perfectly!
