#MySundayPhoto – bribery at the park

Friday’s crisp sunny day made a welcome break from the grey skies in the West Midlands this week. We headed to our local park to walk Max and have some fun in the play area. I find it’s always a bit of a risk taking a toddler to a play area – they love it so much they never want to leave!

With an impatient dog and freezing cold hands (forgot my gloves as usual) I was definitely ready to make a move after 20 minutes – just as Taylor was getting into the swing of things (pun totally intended…). Low and behold I found a dodgy chocolate cookie in my coat pocket that she’d made at nursery the day before (supposedly a Gruffolo I think?) Anyway, whatever it was supposed to be it saved me a complete meltdown and I managed to coax Taylor away from the slide and out of the gate before she even realised…I think this may have been the point when the penny dropped and she realised she’d been duped!

Lol, any bribery that works is alright by me 🙂 I had to bribe my toddler with some sweeties when I was doing the supermarket shop today. She’s a nightmare, don’t know why I bother taking her!

Stunning photos, nothing like a Winter walk to blow away the cobwebs.

A chocolate cookie is always a good distraction, lovely looking walk.
