#MySundayPhoto – A trip down Memory Lane

Late in the day again – as usual! This week’s been manic and I haven’t taken too many photos, so I’m sharing this one I took last week.

One morning after dropping Taylor off at nursery I took our dog Max for a walk over the fields near where we used to live when the hubby and I first got together. It was a beautiful morning and I had a bit of time before work to enjoy the English sunshine.

Nobody hardly ever walks the path but I have really fond memories of our trips out as a couple back in those ‘honeymoon’ days – before marriage and children! Obviously I love our family days out even more now, but it’s nice to remember a time when things were much more straightforward and we only had ourselves (and our puppy!) to think about.

I’ve always loved this particular tree in the forefront and have taken copious photos of it in different seasons over the years. There’s a small brook nearby where I always take a couple of minutes to myself to reflect and just enjoy the scenery…

Getting old perhaps??

Oh that’s a beautiful spot for a walk, and a lovely photo! It’s nice you’re able to regularly go back to a place that has such special meaning for you, it sounds heavenly (particularly being able to enjoy it just with your dog for a bit!)

Hope you are having a great start to the week! I just published my first eBook so the week is starting brilliantly for me! 🙂
